Volunteer at SVE!

When adults volunteer, all students benefit! We many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved at SVE — for all schedules and skill sets! Here's how to get started!

STEP 1: Sign up to be a school volunteer through the below form and indicate your areas of interest — or just let us know that you're ready to volunteer anywhere! The PTA volunteer coordinator will email you as opportunities become available. (Scroll down to see examples of year-round and project-based opportunities.)

STEP 2: If you plan to volunteer on-campus or chaperone a field trip in the future, please register through the APIE (Austin Partners in Education) system. AISD requires all volunteers who will be in contact with students to undergo a (free) background check. The registration process takes about 5-10 minutes, and APIE typically processes your registration within 24-36 hours.
