Summer camps ☀️  

Here's a list of summer camps that have all been recommended by other SVE parents.

  • Film Kids Summer Camp meets at William Cannon and Mopac for 4th, 5th and 6th graders who enjoys making movies or wants to learn the craft. to pitch, plan, film and act in original movies.
  • Express Your Art will be in South Austin. (June, mornings)
  • Arte Studio on South 1st runs an art camp en espanol in small groups. (July, August mornings)
  • ATX Ballers is taking sign-ups for summer campscheck out the camp flyer for info and get an early-bird discount.
  • Home Court has another great basketball summer camp (and leagues) a bit further south, at the end of Menchaca Road.
  • PEAS (who teaches agriculture with us every year) has an Outdoor Education Camp each summer. PEAS 'Friends in Nature' Summer Camps will engage campers' (ages 7-12) curiosity outdoors and in the kitchen classroom. Limited scholarships are available.
  • Austin Parks and Recreation Department provides accessible, diverse, and inclusive summer camps for ages 5 through 15 at locations throughout town. Some of these are nature camps.
  • If you're looking at the YMCA's summer camps, several new locations opened up for registration. (SVE won't be one this year due to renovations.)
  • Austin Tinkering School
  • Bat City Comics has two camps: Learn to Play Magic, and Learn to Play D&D
